Meat, plain folly

There is no law that interdicts the use of animals. But what do reason, moral and ethics tell us? Plain folly, says reason, and be it simply for the fact that 70 per cents of all agricultural land are employed to produce meat. For moral reasons we should renounce at meat consumption as well, if we have a look around in slaughterhouses. Everybody may eat what he or she deems justifiable as long as we are clear on meat being a result of killing, of human power over animal helplessness.
